Impostor Brown wished her kind wouldn't send her on this mission –she'd never felt confident in her ability to take out crews without being found out and ejected. And if she had to do it, she wished her chosen partner would carry out most of the heavy work.
But that day, neither of her wishes came true. As she takes out crewmates one by one, she must battle her fears of being found out –and time threatens to run out.

Brown balances her fears and sense of duty.
Meeting after meeting, ejection after ejection, the crewmates' numbers dwindle, and still one Impostor remains. Detached from the frantic finger-pointing, Black shares with Banana her true thoughts.
Perhaps the real enemy has been hiding in plain sight all along.

This started as a fanfic inspired by the song Just be watching you by Chi-Chi and @Genuine, then I became invested in the characters and universe I'd built around it and wanted to write more.
War rages between two species battling for dominance in their shared corner of the galaxy. On one side, a race of space explorers and colonists, united under the tutelage of the Mira corporation. On the other, predatory alien shapeshifters with a gift for imitation, held under the stranglehold of a totalitarian government, who infiltrate Mira's crews to slaughter them one by one.
Caught between the opposing forces, Lime must navigate between Impostor murders and the paranoia of Mira crewmates. To survive, she will have to gain the trust of people around her and defy a world where, by purpose or out of fear, friends can turn to enemies at a moment's notice.
The Impostors have sent one of their best executioners to make sure the Skeld never reaches Mira HQ. Vicious and manipulative, Purple looks forward to picking off the crewmates one by one.
But Lime is keeping her eyes open, and when the first crewmate dies, she knows the enemy. She must make sure to arrive safely. Whatever it takes.

In the ensuing game of cat and mouse, Lime risks herself to save Red, but fate has a way of turning on you. Now it's Red's turn to make a choice.
This is an alternative version of The Taste of Betrayal. The first three chapters are the same; chapter 4 is replaced with an alternative ending, in which a slight difference in timing leads to a very different kind of challenge.

But Impostors lurk on the Hald, and like a too eager farmer, the Reaper will mow down some lives before their time.
This is a prequel to The Taste of Betrayal / Battle Scars but it can be read on its own.

The Invaders aliens used as impostors in an Among Us-like setting.

Even MIRA isn't safe. And the aliens are more determined than ever.
